Nathan Lyon
Nathan Lyon. He does a cooking show on Discovery Health called "A Lyon in the Kitchen." He makes food that's super healthy but still great tasting. Everytime I watch it, he always makes me so hungry, especially with the nectarine cobbler thing he made as well as the roast chicken. The latter one makes Ashley hungry too. Plus, he is such a sweet guy, I've found that out personally through emails.

Adam Savage & Jamie Hyneman
Adam Savage & Jamie Hyneman. The main Mythbusters guys. Adam is a total goofball and needs his occassional cookie. Jamie is sensible and practical, but sometimes that can piss Adam off. All in all they are so funny to watch and they can also teach their viewers a lot too.

Jai Rodriguez
Jai Rodriguez. With TED Allen in the background. Another memeber of the Fab 5, I believe he would be the 4th out of 5 so far that I have done. He is the "culture vulture" and was always my favorite next to Kyan. This picture was when the Fab Five made over some of the guys on the Boston Red Sox. That would explain why they are wearing uniforms. Only, Carson's was light pink...

Lupin
Remus Lupin. Apprently following the pattern of Harry Potter characters, I have drawn him today. Whether he be the real Lupin or the Lupin at school, it's Lupin. And everytime I see him I think back to what Kaplow told me... After the football game when she was leaving, she claimed to have seen him, standing in the parking lot, in the dark, alone, and he appeared to be concentrating on something (or staring off into space) and it seemed like he was casting a spell across the parking lot. Weird...

Lockhart
Lockhart. Now I'm only using this picture because other people could find out who the real Lockhart is that I'm referring to. Yeah, self-explanatory.

Kyan Douglas
Kyan Douglas. Yet again another member of the Fab 5 but oh so cute. My favorite was when he took Carson into the storage closet and was trying to teach him how to swing a golf club. I guess you'd have to have seen the Carson's Queer Eye DVD. And he used a Barbie once to let Carson's Barbie know "This place is a total shithole."

Marty Feldman
Marty Feldman. My favorite character he has played would definitely have to be Igor in Young Frankenstein. He is so funny and hilarious to watch. If you haven't seen Young Frankenstein, I strongly recommend seeing it.

Bear Grylls
Bear Grylls. Youngest Britain to climb Mount Everest. Man vs Wild. He has also written a few books about his ascent to Everest, Born Survivor, and a few others. He also recently paraglided over Everest, I have that saved on my DVR. In fact, in just 34 minutes I'm gonna watch a new episode of "Man vs Wild" where he goes to Panama!

p.s. I saw HITMAN today! Most amazing movie ever!!!

Larry the Cable Guy
Larry the Cable Guy. He is so funny. We rented the Health Inspector DVD a while ago and it was pretty darn funny. Plus, he reminds me of my friends dad who is a total redneck as well.

Bruno Tonioli
Bruno Tonioli. (Far right). He's a judge on "Dancing with the Stars" and always makes the most hilarious metaphors and similes when he's talking to the dancers. He is so entertaining to watch.

Thom Felicia
Thom Felicia. Used to be a member of the Fab 5 as the interiour decorating guy but now since they just finished their last season, he has his own show on Style Network (I think). The Fab 5 wouldn't be awesome without him. Plus him and Kyan are cute together.

Tom Bergeron
Tom Bergeron. He now hosts ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" as well as "America's Funniest Home Videos." He is so funny! and I think Mel B. (Maks's partner this lear) really likes him because she is always petting his arm or pinching his butt. Tom is so awesome though, I luv this guy.

*Kaplow picked this one out of the bag today

Ronny

Ronny. (He might spell it Ronnie, I'm not sure). He is my cousin, he's a firefighter, I thought it would be appropriate because of the recent California Wildfires... Um, he's the only one in his family that's not married yet and he's also the oldest. This picture is from his sister's (my other cousin's) wedding.

Universal Studios Pics November 2007
My family, my uncle, and I went to Universal Studios again yesterday. I wanted to get another picture with Frankenstein, since it would be our 4 month anniversary, but I only caught a glimpse of him while he was diverting people by taking a stroll through the candy store. I did get some pictures with a few more monsters though!

We hit up Dracula when we first got there. I was gonna get one with him last time we went but he was being mobbed by adoring fans...

This guy called us over to him... we weren't planning on a picture with him but he pulled us over and then did this

We saw this guy last time too but didn't get a pickture. He reminds me of Uncle Jesse (Full House)

JAWS

I love Egyptian statues and stuff like this. They're pretty hot, I mean, for statues. But this one reminded me of Menkaure & Queen (even though they were people, not animals). I didn't realize till after that we were matching.

Ah, Beetlejucie. He tried to like and kiss my face but my dad wasn't able to get a picture fast enough. I actually had my arm around the guy but he was just so big it didn't reach the other side... He was a hefty fellow. Hey! I'm just noticing, he is really big. Almost a whole head taller than me... that would make him about between 6' 4" and 6' 6"

Awesome person of the day will be coming later...

Tony Hawk
Tony Hawk. First guy to land the 900 (that would be 2 1/2 spins in the air). Super adorable even though Kaplow says he's the epitome of ugly :( and Duffy claims that Tony is his brother "I always tell people that but they never believe me!..." He is friends with the Jackass guys but he is smart enough not to do any of the crazy shit they do. Oh! And he was just on "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader." He was I think 2 or 3 questions away from $1,000,000 but he dropped out because he didn't know an answer and had no more cheats left. But he really liked Nathan because he saved him twice. Tony was carrying the kid around the stage and didn't' want to put him down. He told the kid that he would name a skate park after him, then he gave Nathan a skateboard and signed it. So if you see a skate park with the name "Nathan" in it, it's named after that kid.

Mr. B

--------- I happened to draw him today. So, yeah, he is pretty much awesome... except for when he left all us AP US History students alone in the PAC with Mrs. Gwyn while we were taking the test. Carne flipped when he found out she was letting us read afterward. Anywho, back to the awesome person of the day... Um, he looked really sporty today, Kaplow recalls him as 'cyberborg'...? Plus, anyone who has had him as a teacher says they love him and that he's the best teacher ever and I'm glad he's upgraded to principal now. Awesome job Mr. B!

Note: I totally don't feel to comfortable about putting his picture on here, so that's why I have it embedded as a small size... instead of the nromal large that I normally use.

Jimmy Fishback III
Jimmy Fishback III. Aka "Lil Animal." Totally awesome and he has a hot body. I got to meet him and get a picture with him!!! Anyway, he's a speedway rider, #25 and goes really fast. His dad was the original "Animal" so since his son started to race, he promptly earned the name "Lil Animal."

Note: I am now afraid to post certain things on here since somebody accessed it at an inappropriate time today. You know who you are, and why it was inappropriate at that particular time... AND IT HAPPENED BOTH TIMES HE ENTERED!!!!!! Grr...

Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Maks. Professional dancer on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" and is currently paired up with Spice Girl's Scary Spice, Mel B.. Last year, he was with Laila and came in in the top 3. He's done that again this year in the top 4 (so far, the season is not over yet) with Mel. Good luck Maks!

Ted Allen
Ted Allen. Originally part of The Fab 5 (yes, he's gay), Ted Allen is awesome. He was the food and wine guy while on Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, as well as a judge on another reality-type show. He is so funny with the Fab guys... especially on the Outtakes DVD when Carson is holding a corkskrew to Ted's head and accidently pokes a whole in his head. Ted claims (with an accent yet to be determined), "it's only a flesh wound."

NEW!!! AWESOME PERSON OF THE DAY!
Starting today, I will be posting one awesome person each day... now through December 25th. They aren't really in any specific order... but I am saving the best till the last--meaning you'll have to check on Christmas Day to see who my #1 awesome person is! Here's the first:
Banjo. To me, he reminds me of Esteban (Julio Recardo Montoya De La Rosa Ramierez) from The Suite Life. Kaplow and I saw him in "The Man Who Came To Dinner" and his character is soooooooooo adorable and cute and he is so lovable. Kinda the cute-and-innocent kind that you can't get mad at. Again, so cute. And even when the door fell down, he just ate it up at every opportunity he could to make a joke out of it.

Bear's Mission Everest
^^Not from Mission Everest, but still a good starting picture :)^^
I got to watch the new Man vs Wild with Bear Grylls at 6 tonight three hours before anyone else around here that doesn't have Verison Fios in HD. We just recently got Discovery Channel HD so this was my first actual show I got to see on it's premeire night. Part I of the Sahara Desert episode was on and then Bear's Mission Everest afterwards. I must say, the Mission Everest was very stressful to watch... I posted some pictures that I had gotten from a while ago when the event was first filmed so since tonight it was aired... I thought I'd share. Basically, Mission Everest was his attempt and success at paragliding over Mount Everest with a specialized motor and such to set a new record. His altimiter froze (literally froze... like ice) at a little over 25,000 feet, but still they were able to calculate how high he went by his speed andtiming before it had froze. He made about 30,000 feet--approx 400 feet higher than Everest. His partner had to bail out because his supercharge drive belt failed and he couldn't make it to the altitude.

This is Bear's kid, Jesse, testing out the paraglider made escpecially for this event in his pj's

Bear and the glider

Testing in the windtunnel, he almost got frostbite on his face and had a few small red marks on his face afterwards for a few days.

Bear at basecamp at Everest

He wanted to go on the first clear day but they took too long to get ready and three votes against him made the decision he would not fly that day.

Probably checking the weather or the data from the weather balloons that they released.

That little white parachute would be Bear...

It was emotional for Bear. He started to cry when he started talking about his wife while he was at Basecamp and had to walk away for a while.

Why Officer Tim is my Hero...
I have a new reason for Officer Tim being one of my heroes... here's why:

I searched his name on The Californian website for articles within the last few years and only one came up. It was about how little elementary school kids were learning that they shouldn't talk to strangers during a Safety Week or something. Then the teachers walked their kids through a neighborhood where undercover cops were posing as strangers to teat the kids (to make sure that they would run away or yell 'stranger!'). After they got back, this is what happened:

""One little girl walked up to me after it was all over and whispered, 'A strange man tried to talk to me,' Officer Tim* of the Temecula Police Department said. "When I asked her what he looked like, she said, 'He was tall.'"

Tim* said the undercover police officer was at the school campus when the children got back from their walk. The little girl immediately pointed him out and said, "That's the man that tried to talk to me.""

Awe... he is saving little kids from strangers!!! So adorable... I want him to save me from a stranger ;)

*Name changed to protect his real identity

I had too much Chicken today
I had this dream last night where, one day at lunch, we were sitting in that corner where the principal's outside office door is and the library computer lab wall is (the corner near where Nataly (sp?) sits). I dunno why we were sitting there... but we were. Anywho, I had my back to the student entrance to the activities office when I turn around and Chicken is sitting at a table (dunno why it was in front of the door though) with what I think was my mom and somebody else. I thought to myself (in the dream) 'wow! I never really thought he'd come back to visit!!!' so I was so surprised (and Ashley could care less) so I run over to him and give him a great big hug... I know something happened in between this part and the next part but I can't remember what it was, nothing important anyway.. so the next part... The bell rang and I had to go to 5th period but I was still hanging out with him in the (counselor's?) office so I thought my mom could write me a note so that I wouldn't be late. I turned around to ask her but she magically disappeared somehow so then this whole scene with Chicken and a gun and people running wildly and other things happening went on and that's all I really remember... But it was weird.. Haha, weird... how ironic.

Anywho...

When 4th period came around (in real-life now), my teacher spent the whole time talking about his wife, their age difference, when he married her, that it was a student of his... like the rest of his brothers, and one was actually 14 years difference with the student he married... (insert the 'carne/eyebrow' smiley face here)

THEN!...

Kaplow calls me after school and apparently Ugly Bag Lady was in the office and she was still wearing the hideous blue sweatpants and such... But Kaplow said that U.B.L. left the office and went towards Chicken's old classroom

TOO MUCH CHICKEN FOR ME IN ONE DAY!!!!!!!!! AHHHH!!!

Step-by-Step Guide for a Bear Grylls Pumpkin
First... decide which picture you want

Carve out the guts of your pumpkin

Then tape on this stencil like shown above

Use the poker tool to poke an outline around all the parts of the stencil

You can see here there are light and dark marks, it's only because i used two different tools because my hand was starting to hurt :)

Then carefully begin to carve

Here are some pictures from my end product. It turned out better then I thought it would, but only looked cool when the dark blue neon light was in it.. Still, I have to say it's pretty good for me having to photochop on of my favorite color pictures of Bear Grylls

You can do this with almost any picture you like!!!

"Random Acts of Nature"
I was looking through some of my old videos I have on YouTube and I think this one has got to be my favorite by far... It's entitled "Random Acts of Nature" and features two full minutres of separate complaints made by Ashley on that particular outing... quite hilarious indeed...
