| Stick Time: My first session |
| So I got up at frickin 4:12am this morning and Christina came by and picked me up for some Stick Time at the Iceoplex. It was so cool, but I was also really nervous. I made some new hockey friends, another Kings fan that couldn't get the hang of a hockey stop like me :) and a few middle-aged men, lol. But I loved the breezers, totally saved my ass, literally. I was forced into a pick-up game... but loved it. It felt so awesome being out there, and the older guys there really helped me out a bit too. I do need my own pair of breezers and some shoulder pads and ice skates that fit though for the next time I wanna go back. I wish someone could have been there to take pictures, it was so awesome, I can't even begin to explain. Hopefully I'll see my new Kings friend again, he was just starting out on ice as well, but had a little more experience. |

| 40th Anniversary Opening Night at Costa Mesa Speedway |
 Last night I went to the 40th Anniversary Opening Night at Costa Mesa Speedway. Jimmy Fishback, aka Lil' Animal, was there signing autographs by himself because he was the Rider of the week. I wore my Lil' Animal t-shirt so when I got there I got him to sign it for me. I showed him the shirt and everything and I think he liked it :D he is just so cute. His leathers changed a little from last year, but they are still bright greenish/yellow. He did really well on the first race, totally smoked everyone, and I even got some of his dirt on me, lol, but the rest of the night he kinda got screwed over. I think there was a leak in his fuel line because when he was coming around to the starting line, he jumped off his bike and started patting it, like it was on fire, but since it runs on methanol, it's clear. They got out the fire but it started up again at the tape, so they patted it out... we all thought it was finally over because he got on his bike and started it up at the tape and was just around the 2nd turn when he took it wide, slowed down, and then his bike caught fire again... and it was BIG fire... he jumped off and was trying to put it out and then they got the hose and the fire extinguisher and got it out, making a big ball of smoke. I'm glad he was alright, and he tried to race in the next round but as the announcer said, they got the barbecue going again, lol... he was pissed off, and done for the night. Another guy got a severe compound fracture to his right arm because he went into the wall and they had to take him out in an ambulance. My uncle got a cool picture of Jimmy's bike on fire so when he sends them I will put up some of his pictures too

| Nathan Lyon Cover and Bear Grylls book newly released to the US |
I went to Barnes & Noble today so I could pick up a magazine but as soon as I walked in the doors I saw a new Bear Grylls book, that's when I remembered one of his books was finally being released to the US in May of 2008... and guess what... IT'S MAY OF 2008!!! And after checking out www.beargrylls.com i read his blog which was literally posted today and he said it was released THIS WEEK... so that's pretty cool I got it the first week out.
 The magazine I wanted with Nathan Lyon (from A Lyon In The Kitchen on Discovery Health) and it has a whole article right in the beginning... so awesome! Also I tossed in my new Bear Grylls book, it's a really nice hard cover PLUS I got it for 20% off!
 This picture of Nathan Lyon totally reminds me of a hike I have been on a few times with my dad... it looks like the same place, even though it's not... it's still cool though
 I saw this picture of Nathan and was like "myspace picture!" lol... too cute

| Little Update on Lil' Animal |
| My uncle called me today, for a little update on my Lil' Animal. Same similar colors I think, same number, but he said he really spent a lot of money tricking out his bike. He got a new pair of leathers too, but fairly similar it sounds... and it still says Lil' Animal on his hip :) Maybe I'll get to go to Opening night at Costa Mesa! I want that shirt my uncle designed... "I like boys that slide" with a speedway rider and bike sliding in a turn in a Hawaiian theme |

| Some pics of new hockey equipment |
My hockey friend came back today, I missed him so much. Unfortunately he is starting to get sick so he's resting. I'm going to the Sports Park rink today around 3 and am going to meet up with Kopitastic's younger brother, who, btw, is still older than my by I think three years.... any way, he's an aspiring goalie so since his sister can't make it he says we'll just have a shootout, lol.
I got an Ovechkin stick yesterday too. The guy threw in the white hockey tape for free too, which was cool cuz otherwise it would have been another $2. So I'm bored a little that's why I'm posting. I took a few pictures of some of my new stuff. I know I said I'd put up a picture of my socks when I got them so here they are, in all their shining glory, lol...
 They make my legs look really big when I don't have any upper body pads on... the shin guards are under the socks, in case you didn't know...
 My net in my garage. It looks ridiculously large but it's regulation size
 Dad's stick is left unwrapped, then my Peter Forsberg Easton Synergy stick wrapped with black hockey tape and my Alexander Ovechkin CCM Vector stick wrapped in white tape... the blade is wrapped in white too, cuz that's how Ovechkin's stick really looks
