Oh my, it's been a while... but I have been sidetracked on a different... um... journal thing I guess.
I ice skated today... the old creepy guy was there again... and he asked me about Mattia, I didn't even know he KNEW about Mattia!! And he hugged Christina...
I'm sore now..
Went and saw Night at the Museum 2 (Ricky Gervais!!) and I think that the second one is actually better than the first, but I like both haha.
Happy Memorial Day! Rob was the first person to tell me that, I had forgotten about it. I hope Rob is okay, I'm worried about him, I am so afraid I'm going to lose him. I love those Marines, but I fear for them too. Especially the ones in the worst part of Iraq... like Rob... Luv ya Bobby!!
I'm bored right now. I'm waiting for The Sims 2 Apartment Life expansion pack to load. It takes forever on the desktop computer, we have too many files.
I played hockey today, Andy was there, I really heart Andy, he is freakin awesome!! The jackass Flyers guy was there again, gah, I really don't like him too much. He has a potty mouth, but at least I'm not on his bad side (I hope!) because he is about a foot taller than me. I tried to give him a little bump because he wouldn't get off my ass but I didn't realize how big he really was until I turned around and he was laughing at me and I was looking up at him. He picked me up and moved me aside... hmph. Well it was fun, aside from those two guys giving me those 2 breakaways and that goal.
Anyway, 3 more days until I get to go pick up my gear. I'm so excited.
What else was exciting that happened today? I installed a bunch of updates on my laptop... I was bored.
The last few nights I haven't been able to sleep very well. I'm not sure why, but I have two possibilities. 1. I'm just so excited for this hockey thing 2. The book I have to read for my History class is giving me nightmares, literally
I think it's a combination of both, and also because I think I haven't had my boy to tuck me in at night. He didn't really tuck me in before, but I loved talking to him before bed. It gave me something nice to think about and made me sleep a little easier. He knows I miss him. Hopefully I'll get to see him on cam this weekend before I get my gear. Muah. That's a kiss for him =)
OMG, Chris is alive!! The dork wants me to skate with him tomorrow morning but I told him I have class. He still wants me to go though because he knows I don't have class at 5:30 in the morning. I'm going on Thursday with Jason though. And I think I'm bringing my mom and my sister. It should be more entertaining because I will be on the ice the whole time (rather than being benched until it's my turn) and me and Jason and screw around and check each other. I wish Steve could go but he is working. He isn't afraid to rough me up a little. It would be the first time my sister has ever seen me play. It should be fun, and a time for me to get out my anger issues and frustrations... Hockey: my Anger Management.
If you noticed (but I doubt you did), yes, I deleted the post that USED to be here. I'm so glad spring break is almost here. I need it. Lately I have been getting to sleep late and having to wake up early, but I guess that's what [2()`/ does. In fact I'm making that boy late for work, and I feel horrible. I have a problem with letting things go. In this case, letting him go. I mean I know he's gotta work and I know I'm making him late, which is even worse!! I don't know how he has put up with me this long.
Oh, back to spring break.
One week from today marks the evening I get to go to Hockey Giant and get fitted for my equipment. Hmm, maybe I didn't post it, but I'm doing a women's workshop hockey clinic hosted by the LA Kings. I love the hockey classes Chris used to do and I can't even express how excited I am for this. For $450, I get 2 tickets to 2 Kings games, one of which I wanted to go to anyway because all fans in attendance get a free Ivanans poster, part of the Enforcer series. And the other game marks the first time that all 5 retired jersey members will be on the ice together to honor a retiring employee, which means I get to see "Lucky" Luc Robitaille and Wayne Gretzky!! I'm stoked to see them both. Back to the clinic though, I also get a full set of brand new gear to keep, skates, pads, bad, stick, everything. And I'm really excited I get my own Women's Workshop Kings jersey with my name on the back (I think).
So I get all that stuff next Sunday. On Tuesday is the game and I get to skate the first class on the Staples Center ice right afterward. I won't get home till 2am I bet, and we are leaving around 7:30am to drive to Las Vegas. We are staying at The Mirage and they have a nude pool, but you have to be 21 or older to get in, which means I either need a fake I.D. or I have to sneak in. We will be coming home on Friday, and Saturday is the next Kings game, then I go back to school on Monday.
I'm pretty satisfied with that.
Though I will be a bit bummed I may not get to chat with my boy as often as I would like. But hey, the car ride there and back I will bring my other phone, the one with Fring and Skype, so we can chat.
My boy is the only one that probably reads this, I hope he doesn't mind that I call him my boy, because he knows it's him by his partial screen name in there, but I don't want to share he name, I don't think he wants me to either. He knows I luv him though =)
Well, well, well. This is my first real post in a while I think. I mean, it's more than me going on about a hockey player or just posting videos. I'm proud of myself. =D
I wanted to be in bed by 10:30 tonight, that isn't going to happen, it's past that already. Maybe I'll give myself until 11:00 to write a little bit of my story. I would like to actually finish a story for once.
And me and my boy have this project going, he better at least try to stick with it. I have taken my picture for the day, if I had more time I'd post it, I think it's pretty nifty, I edited it all with my phone. This phone has the best and easiest photo editor out of all my previous phones. I can't complain. They advertise the LG VU on the tele all the time, but the Samsung Eternity is so much better. Better battery life by far, the screen is bigger, and you don't have to dig your nails in to press things. Also, the landscape QWERTY keyboard shows up automatically when u turn it for a text (or any other program you're going to type in) and it has other little quirks that make it fun, like the tumbling dice and the tilt for a SLIDE show. Check it out, way better than the VU, but a bit pricier.
So, goodnight for now. I'll be back sometime soon, possibly tomorrow, but hopefully sometime this week. Going on a hike on Tuesday and Christina wants me to go to Club Envy with her Wednesday night, it's an 18+ club. I can't dance, and I really don't want to meet any more SD guys, I'm through with them. I'll stick to my foreigners thank you very much. Have a good night.
xx
(haha, Bear Grylls always signs his blogs as such)
ps. I updated my Profile Info just below the videos on the right dashboard, take a look and laugh
I haven't done any real posts for a while... I have noticed some of my keys don't work properly. Sometimes my "f" doesn't show up so if I right 'or' 'rom' 'inished' or 'o' just assume there is an 'f' at the beginning (or end for 'o').
Next, I would like to post a few YouTube clips... some were sent to me from a friend, others I found on my own, but they are rather funny.
If you manage to get all the way down here, I have some more news, I'm playing hockey on thursday!! Woo hoo!! First time in over a month!! And then doing a public skate afterward with a buddy =DD
So I made a new friend... I like him, he seems nice. Reminds me of another friend of mine. We might hang out this weekend... We'll see how it goes. I really like him, but I'm not sure if he likes me the same... I haven't posted in a while, so I figured I'd write something... Not sure what else to say now... so umm... yeah...
**I'm aware the title has NOTHING to do with the post
Tip-A-King 2009!! Woo hoo!! So I went, it was awesome. I got everyone I really wanted and more (except Moller, he wasn't there, and Frolov's line was ridiculous, I waited until they kicked us out). Kopitar's line was probably over an hour and a half but the super nice ladies in front of me were funny, and they held my place in line and told me to go get autographs of everyone else I wanted that had no lines, because they knew it was my first time and wanted me to get as many as I could. My dad was sick, nearly fainted a lot of times, and spent most of the time outside in the fresh air or puking in the port-a-potty. He said they called the paramedics for him and he was put on oxygen, so I spent almost all day in lines by myself, trying to juggle my jersey, the wad of cash in my pocket ($1 for each autograph and $2 for each picture), the camera, my Ivanans 8x10 glossy photo, my Jack Johnson puck, and my sister Flip video camera all while figuring out which arm I'm going to put around the players.
Ivanans was the first person to sign my jersey... it was so cool... he touched me *squeals*
Oh and Bailey, the Kings mascot, he kissed me. We got it on video too, it was funny.
This is the general admission line when we got there, it was terrible as the day went on. We got near the front though. That's me with Kopitar on the left and Luc Robitaille on the right.
He was the first King I saw. We were waiting for the VIP session to end, and it was hot and stuffy in the tent (it was carnival style) and so Sean O'Donnell came out for some fresh air. He used to play for the Ducks... yuck! Derek Armstrong came out too and I bit my lip and tried not to squeal. I was standing near the open door so I could see some of the action inside. Then I saw Ivanans walked by and I got all giddy
See... my by the door, it was bright and sunny ok? That's why I'm making the squinty face. Plus O'Donnell was behind me and I was embarrassed because of my dad. Luc Robitaille was in there, I couldn't see him because it was dark, but I could hear him... yay!
Bailey posed for us, he was our entertainment while we waited in line. He is so awesome, everyone loves Bailey
Me and Raitis Ivanans. Like about 3 different cameras took a picture of me with him, including some professional cameras, so they might end up on the Kings website or letsgokings.com Look at the size of his hands... I'm 5'9" tall and I am as tall as Ivanans while he's sitting... yeah he was on a bar stool but still, he is huge!! And there is a funny story behind his ass, literally, after he was finished at the end of the day, he took off his jersey and he was walking around with the guys that were near my line (for Frolov, it was a great spot to be) and I always new his butt was big, but while he was standing there right next to me I made sure to remember everything about him... yummmm lol.
Bob Miller and Jim Fox signing my jersey. My dad was in the Kopitar line while he took the picture holding my spot. Jim Fox (the one in the black 19 alternate jersey) reminds my sister of Kermit the Frog for some reason, so she was excited to see this picture of him. We luv you Foxy!!
Bob Miller, me, and Foxy. They are announcers for the Kings now, but used to play.
Peter Harrold #5 and I on the couch. He was one of the players you visit when you are in the Kopitar line. He had just returned from a potty break... omg and look at that... I'm touching his leg... hehe.
omg, FINALLY I get to meet my Kopitar. It almost looks like I'm photoshopped in the picture but no, I'm really just that close to him. And that is actually a really adorable picture of him. I was right up against him and I had my leg against his leg. *Sigh*
Right before this picture he got up and ran to the bathroom. My dad was outside getting air when he saw Kopitar bolt outside and look around, then saw the port-a-potties and made a dash for them, even though the Security guy said VIP bathrooms were the other way. I also saw Kopitar's girlfriend there too. I didn't see her at this time, but later after he took off his jersey they were walking around together holding hands and stuff, they are cute together. I didn't get to see his little brother, I wish he would have gone to it this year. All I could do when ever Kopitar walked by, literally within grabbing distance, was stare, smile, and drool a little. Pathetic...
Ok, so the very first player I saw walk in to their autograph spot, was the blondie on the right, Jack Johnson. I just stared... I couldn't take my eyes off him. I don't know why but I'm just really attached to him. I don't think he is the cutest player (though he is cute) but for some reason I'm attached. While I was waiting in line, I was right in front of him for a good 15 minutes, and I just drooled and stared. The one on the left is Denis Gauthier, he's cool too. But ohhh Jack, Jack-Jack, you are a lot bigger and a lot cuter in person... Jack.... Jack!!!!!!! Oh, and these two were in the Kopitar bunch line too
Patrick O'Sullivan, he is such a cutie and no one was in his line! He is missing a few front teeth, so he doesn't smile or talk much, but he is oh so adorable
This is a very cute picture of Sully, I have gotten a lot of comments on it already
Erik Ersberg, one of our goalies, my personal favorite out of them all. From Sweden...
He doesn't smile much, look at all the pictures of him online, just kind of a smirk. He smiled when I said thanks and bye though =)
Okay, the dork in the bathrobe is one of the Kings. He was in the dunk tank (carnival style, remember?) and was still wet. The others are (from left to right) Wayne Simmonds, Matt Greene (behind Mr. Bathrobe), someone that I can't really tell who it is, and Jarett Stoll. Those two girls are bitches... I know because I ran into them later... Stoll is engaged, and Mr. Bathrobe is married (his kids were there, his kids are wild, never offer to babysit for him). More behind that story as the pictures come up
This is our conversation... Tom: Did you stop by and say hi to Kopi? Me: Yeah Tom: Was he good? Me: Yeah (Tom looks at me playfully) Tom: Was he mean?
Me: Nah
Tom Preissing is so super sweet. He is funny too. I don't think people appreciate him as much as they should. I have always had a soft spot for Preissing, I read his blog on http://www.lakings.com/ every time he posts a new one
He is so personable too. Really a fun guy. His wife was there too, she is pregnant but she was wandering around the whole time. They seem like a cool family. Tom Preissing and I
John Zeiler was sitting just to the left of Ivanans, in fact Ivanans reached over and hit Zeiler on the head with somone's stick. Both are fighters, but Zeiler has a temper and fights during unnecessary times occasionally. He is great with kids... he played some games of air hockey with them for a while
Me and John Zeiler. When I showed my mom this picture she really liked him. She thought he was cuter than Tory... I would argue that. Anyway, he held onto me a little longer than 1 second after the picture was taken. Usually they will hold you until they know the picture was taken ok, but after my dad put the camera down he was still holding onto me... I'm not complaining, it was cool to have a Los Angeles King put his face that close to mine. When I pried myself away from his grip and said thank you, I could have kissed him his face was so close
Jarett Stoll and I. Girls think he is the cute-cute one... meh, he's ok. He played a game of skee-ball with the little boy in front of us in line though. It was funny.
Wayne Simmonds, he is such a hard working kid, I really like him =)
Grr... my dad must have moved the camera and made it blurry
Ok, so this is Mr. Bathrobe... AKA Derek Armstrong (Army for short). He has the wild kids. Anyway, he was in the dunk tank, he had to dry off his hands to sign my jersey before this picture. Anyway, when I left, the bitches (from the previous picture I mentioned them in) they saw what Army did and they gave me this evil death glare. I don't know what their problem was, I gave them a "what the hell are you staring at? Are you jealous? Well if you had brought your own money and your own camera you could have gotten a picture with him too. By the way did you know he was married and has kids?" look
If you are able to see this picture bigger by clicking on it, you will see Kopitar's head in the back (far side) of the game thingy and Jack's on the opposite side.
That's Jack from behind... In all the dreams I have about him he is in a dark blue shirt... well later, I saw him pulling his jersey over his head, and he was wearing a dark blue baseball shirt with the dark blue sleeves. *Sigh* Jack makes me smile and bite my lip
Wow, it's been a while huh. Just thought I would drop by and leave a note. I'M GOING TO TIP-A-KING ON SUNDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah, if you don't know what it is, its a meet the players party to get pics and autographs with the Los Angeles Kings. It's a 4-day early birthday present =D and I have made my list of players that I really want to see and the first 3-4 are players that I need to see, in the order they are written.
Anze Kopitar (Kopi)
Jack Johnson (JMFJ)
Raitis Ivanans
Alexander Frolov (Fro)
Oscar Moller
Patrick O'Sullivan (Sully)
Erik Ersberg
Tom Preissing
Kyle Calder
Dustin Brown (Brownie)
Jarret Stoll
So yeah, I need to also decide what I want them to sign, I'm thinking about taking my Kopitar Jersey, and also I want Jack to sign my Jack Johnson puck, and Ivanans to sign my 8"x10" glossy photo I have. But I also have my Kings iPod, that would be cool to have signed... And I don't know if I want to wear my jersey and have them sign it while I'm wearing it, or if I should just wear my Kopitar t-shirt and hand them the jersey to sign. I really want to be wearing whatever it is they are signing (either my Kopitar jersey or t-shirt) hehe, I did that when Jimmy signed my Speedway shirt, then they have to touch you =D I'm terrible, I know. I really hope I can get Kopitar's autograph, but I need Jack's (autographs also include my dad taking a picture of me posing with them). I don't know why but I'm really attached to Jack, it's odd. Plus I have had numerous dreams about getting to meet him (whether at Tip-A-King or in some other situation) so it would be nice to put those dreams to rest by actually meeting him, and getting a hug would be awesome. Same with Kopitar and Ivanans. I'm overwhelmed I'm so excited... its in 3 days, oh my gosh, I actually counted, it seems farther than 3 days... I'm stoked!!
**sigh**
Anyway, here are my boys in order...
Anze Kopitar
Jack Johnson
Raitis Ivanans
Alexander Frolov
Oscar Moller
Patrick O'Sullivan (the big kid, not the little one)
I can't close my right eye... it's numb... I need a patch, feel like a pirate, arghh
Me and Dad
Me, Dad, and the Italian guy (hearing his accent was nice because it reminded me of my nice times with Red)
I'm tired =P
Dane, Dad, Baldy Bowl, Me
We made it!
Dane, Me
It's been a while since my last post. I don't really have much to say though. I went hiking on Tuesday, and ironically came across a guy from Northern Italy but lives in Temecula like me. Dane went with me and my dad.
Today I had to get 2 fillings. I was numb up to my eyeball (which is normal) but this time from a different angle so I wouldn't close my eyelid... I taped my eye closed with clear hockey tape when I got home because I couldn't blink and my eye kept watering. But I guess the filling on the far back tooth was deep but not wide. It went straight down and he had to drill almost into my nerve =( My tongue is numb, well, half of it is, so I talk funny. It's beginning to go away though so I probably sound a little more normal now.
Chris is starting to really worry me. He hardly ever comes on Skype and when he does, I don't talk to him because he usually ignores me. But last night around 9:oopm he signed on. I ignored him like usual but he sent me a strange message:
[1/28/2009 9:13:21 PM] Chris: awesome drunken
[1/28/2009 9:13:28 PM] Chris: i love you gotta go!
(Usually it shows his last name but I deleted it once I put it on this post. I don't like using last names)
I tried to text him but no response. I'm beginning to think maybe he got a new phone so I don't have his correct number anymore. I will try to email him tonight.
Oh, yesterday there was a car chase, a lady took off with a U-Haul moving truck. It was dangerous but really funny. Please watch this clip of the end of the chase, the driver is swerving trying to slosh the remaining gasoline around to get more out of it, but it runs out and she makes a run for it... Really funny: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6kQYPaAE08
One more note, I keep having dreams about Jack Johnson (from the LA Kings, not the singer). So you know what that means? It means I have to go to Tip-A-King and meet him and get his autograph and a picture with him. I have to. My birthday is coming up, so if you still haven't thought of anything to get me, get me tickets to Tip-A-King, preferably the $300 VIP ticket, if not, the $85 General Admission one it fine.
Oh oh, one more note. I want Derren Brown to get me to hallucinate like these people, but instead of forks, something a little more entertaining, like a hottie walking into my bedroom in the middle of the night, haha. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NTyU6_WO-8
